Thea R. Scott – Louisiana Notary
Thea R. Scott is a Louisiana Notary Public and Attorney concentrating in civil law with a focus in the areas of Trusts, Wills and Estate Planning. She has also worked in criminal defense, specifically in post-conviction relief.
Thea followed in her parents’ footsteps by attending Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge and earning her Juris Doctor in 2012. She previously graduated from Louisiana State University with her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, concentrating in Criminology.
Thea’s focus in the areas of Wills and Estate Planning have allowed her to enjoy one of her passions: helping people. She loves working with customers and helping them get the peace of mind that comes with having their affairs in order.
Thea has also worked with young people in Southern’s Juvenile Clinic. She enjoyed her time representing Louisiana middle and high-schoolers who needed assistance getting back on the right track.
Thea is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is a comissioned Louisiana Notary Public and is admitted to practice law in state courts in Louisiana.
Thea is a proud native of Shreveport, where she graduated from C.E. Byrd High School. She spends her spare time watching her favorite shows, gardening and reading Louisiana fiction.
